Chase Has Stopped Being Competitive.

Chase has slashed its interest rates on all accounts since the last review and linked interest rates to the base rate. Chase is no longer competitive and their current account interest is now zero %. In addition, the criteria to qualify for monthly cash back has increased to needing to deposit £1500 per month. The only merit is the app is easy to use. Customer loyalty seems to not be valued anymore. Shame as they started so well. They worked hard to drive deposits but don’t appear to want to keep existing customers. Market leading interest rates with no access penalty

Market leading interest rates with no penalty instant access. Withdrawals are not capped like many others. App is very easy to use and reliable. Great to be able to move money between pots without any limits. Reviewed on: 15th February 2024

Exceptional Customer Esperience.

Easy to navigate and reliable app based banking. No penalty instant access and competitive interest rate. Also cash back is a bonus and hopefully this is kept as a benefit. Very responsive and helpful customer contact team when needed. Reviewed on: 15th February 2024

Innovative

I have had my Chase current account for nearly 12 months and am extremely happy. Easy to set up via the app and easy to navigate. However, the real stand out features are 1% cash back on purchases, a debit card without visible card details to aid security, a round up feature which attracts 5% interest and no fees when using abroad. Finally, the account now gets 1% interest even though it is an account. So it is easy to use this account as a spending wallet and also move funds to the higher interest savings pots I also have with Chase. A pleasure to use. Reviewed on: 16th March 2023

Breath of Fresh Air

Chase Savings Account are brilliant. Market leading interest rates without any penalties for withdrawing funds so truly instant access. Backed up by a brilliant easy to use app experience which makes moving funds between pots or making payments a simple experience. Now supplemented with access to Nutmeg via the Chase app to allow set up of a further range of investments such as ISAs etc. Also, great communication and very responsive. Finally, one of the few banks to actually communicate an increase in savings interest rates within hours of the base rate changing. My other banks only communicate mortgage rate increases at this speed! So overall, terrific experience and it feels like the customer actually is valued. Keep it up. Reviewed on: 16th March 2023
