Good for most small businesses, not suitable for international trading

While my day to day experience with tide has been positive, it was not clear at the time of opening my account that we would not be able to receive client payments made in different currencies (money that we had invoiced for in £GBP but our clients transferred in $USD). There was no notification that an incoming payment had failed / been attempted in a different currency so there was no way of knowing the client had attempted payment until we chased when overdue. Not great for my clients experience or mine. If you are ever hoping to trade with international companies, they do not always have the facility to pay in a different currency from their own so Tide would not be for you.
