Peace of mind, friendly and timely customer service

Every time I have needed to contact them they have given me thorough, friendly responses, and if they didn't know the answer right away, they researched until they had the answer. Even though the monthly fee is very small, when I first considered switching to Triodos it was a barrier--after all, you can't beat free. But it turns out, you can. I may pay £3 a month for banking, but for that I have total peace of mind knowing that my money will never be used for something I wouldn't approve of. Ethical standards for a bank are even more important in these tumultuous times, and I feel safe and cared for with Triodos. I have attended online gatherings as well and they are informative and interesting. They offer transparent banking which I have never heard of from another bank. I tell everyone about Triodos, and I would never consider changing. The only thing I don't bank with them for are international money transfers--that involves fees I couldn't afford, so I use a different online bank for my international money needs. The kind of bank you want in your corner

Just knowing that they are an ethical bank is a comfort in and of itself, but through all the banking law changes they were very supportive and were among the first to implement safer banking practices. Reviewed on: 23rd March 2023
