Worst UK bank so far

I would like to thank Starling Bank for sending me this survey link. This is so far the worst banking experience I had so far. I have been their customer for more than 4 years. A while ago, all of a sudden they have requested me to explain the purpose of me visiting Belarus (purpose of this suspicious activity) and asked for a confirmation statement from my natwest bank. It seemed as a joke to me until they notified me that they are closing my account without providing a justification. Lady from the customer service was rude and demanding. She spoke to me as I am her peasant. Now I am stuck in Belarus without any option. I cannot pay for groceries and don't know what to do next. Feeling desperate. Starling's customer service is nowhere near what it used to be. Please stay away from this bank. Avoid at all costs!!! If you need any travel money better choose cash or select a trustworthy bank provider. Reviewed on: 31st March 2023
