Be very careful, if you are a SME

Be very careful when using this bank. All good until it goes wrong, my son’s account was hit by fraud. Tide froze his accounts and contacted his other banks, reported him, even though we provided a clear and detailed chronology proving he was the victim. My son has been left with having to let his 6 staff go, his business is ruined. The reply to our complaint was to give us notice to shut his account. Now going to the ombudsman. If you are a victim of fraud Tide will treat you unfairly and with contempt. Reviewed on: 1st April 2023
