Even though my credit score was GOOD I'd been turned down for a loan by my own bank and mortgage provider. Being self-employed and not earning the biggest of wages companies like Santander and Nationwide aren't interested in you unless your a big earner. Freedom Finance however were interested and got me my loan to consolidate my credit card debt. Now I have one affordable monthly amount and no credit card bills. Reviewed on: 25th June 2018
