I needed to close my Help to Buy ISA as I was about to complete on my house purchase but had to wait 1 hour at the bank in order to speak to a staff member. I was unable to make an appointment and was told I would need to wait. Very unclear queueing system too - at one point I was having to direct people to the right queue as the bank manager left when I was at the front of the queue. If I had known what a faff it would have been to close the account, I would not have open with Lloyds.
