Dreadful complain handling

They made mistakes transferring an ISA due to problems with their data and were unhelpful identifying and correcting the problem, costing me time and interest. Now over 8 months since I complained. It seems they made a decision behind closed doors three months ago but to date refuse to tell me what it was. Resorted to ombudsman in the end, but, customer service aside, cannot think this is an efficient way to run a company. I won't use them again as they don't seem to be able to run basic processes.
