I got into debt in 2005 and tried and failed to get an IVA. For the first year, my own bank was treating me like a criminal and caused me so much anxiety that I became ill. And an IVA was off the cards, because they couldn't make enough commission off my debts to make it worth their while. That's when I contacted Payplan. From the moment I signed up with Payplan I started to feel in control of the situation, and although I am still paying off my debt (I've had more illness and have been unable to work - I'm now living off my state pension), I am so grateful for their support, professionalism and thoughtfulness. Everyone I've dealt with there - and that's quite a few, since I've been with them for 17 years - has been incredibly helpful and kind. It's no exaggeration to say that they gave me my life back. Of course I shouldn't have got into debt in the first place, but there is no judgement from Payplan, only first class support. I can't recommend them highly enough. Reviewed on: 19th June 2023
