A great solution

After I caught covid in Nov'20 I lost my job (self employed) and struggled for months. I found an employed permanent job but NatWest wouldn't extend my overdraft until I got paid at the end of my first month (I had been with them since 1984). Rang my biggest ccard MBNA and they advised me to call Payplan. The process of setting it up and opening a basic bank account with another bank was relatively easy and all has been good since. OK I have no credit score and have to drive around in a battered old car because I can't get a loan, but I still have my home! Reviewed on: 22nd June 2023
