After spending a long time struggling with my debts, trying to make agreements with creditors and debt collection agencies, enduring regular unwanted and unsettling phone calls, dreading opening letters and sinking deeper into depression I finally contacted StepChange. From my first contact I received great advice and was informed about possible options that could help me. My advisor listened to everything I had to say and completely understood my situation. No judgement. I felt for the first time that I was not on my own and in battle with finance companies. Very quickly StepChange made contact with my creditors and we agreed a realistic plan that would actually be possible for me going forward, with help and information on hand whenever I should need it. From that moment onwards, no threatening letters from creditors, no intimidating phone calls. That first contact was a few years ago and they are still helping me. We have an annual review to make sure any arrangements are still suitable for me. Asking StepChange for help lifted a huge weight and literally changed my life, cannot praise them enough. Excellent - Genuinely life changing help

Excellent. Genuinely life changing help sorting out debt management. After managing myself for a long time, sinking under more and more pressure StepChange provided lots of useful advice and helped to take a huge weight from my shoulders. Reviewed on: 16th May 2024

Step Change - Excellent

After struggling to manage my debts for a long time I finally turned to Step Change. Within a short period of time just and a few really understanding phone calls, my debt plan was in place, my creditors were off my back and I could start to open my post and emails again without holding my breath every day.
