Best value for money for independent consultants

If all you do is independent engineering consultancy, I have been unable to find lower prices than Kingsbridge. I frequently recommend Kingsbridge to friends and family, and would continue to do so even if they didn't have a refer a friend deal on. Feel free to google Aqueum and contact me if you don't have anyone to refer you... I have investigated consultancy insurance both for myself and freelances who work with me many times, and Kingsbridge always provides the most comprehensive package at the lowest price. T I suspect part of the low cost is that they have one policy package & (other than specifying levels) they won't diverge from it. For example, if you have equipment, etc. my experience is that they won't cover it. I cover my laptop, etc. on my home policy & other equipment on other business policies. Another frustration, causing them to drop a star is that they won't explain their policies. I wanted to work with another freelancer and they refused to explain either what one clause (referring subcontracts) meant, or how we should deal with it contractually. They referred us to their legal support line, who then told us that we would need to ask Kingsbridge. But if you just need straight forward solo independent consultant insurance (excluding equipment), Kingsbridge is in my experience definitely best value for money. Reviewed on: 24th July 2023
