Lifeline

I ended up in debt and heavy borrowing due to my wife’s mental illness. The stress was affecting every part of my life. I contacted Stepchange and they basically threw me a lifeline. They organised my repayments and froze any action from my creditors. I have been able to control the budget in regards to every day life and also the repayments. Everything is online and communicating with Stepchange is brilliant. I have now been with Stepchange for about 6 months and been able to keep my head above water. I have a clear plan and making headway into paying all of my debts off. Thank you to everyone at Stepchange. I must add that every time I called them, there was always a non judgemental person on the other end of the phone and they were very supporting and sympathetic.
