CAN WE TRUST PAYPAL?

Attempted to make a £7 magazine payment through PAYPAL. Verification number sent via mobile. Not accepted. Number inserted and reinserted. Still not accepted. New verification number sent. Accepted 2nd try - then bank card not accepted. Queried this with bank and was given PAYPAL's telephone number. What a joke speaking to somebody. They would 'ring me back' - which they did, and our conversation was cut off and the line went dead.. This sort of pantomime is unacceptable. I would not be paid to open an account with PAYPAL. Modern automated technology which you cannot get any sense out of. Reviewed on: 31st July 2023
