Caravan insurance for caravaners, by caravaners seems a logical choice

Insurance is always a gamble, not only for the insurer, but also the insured. My decision to use the Caravan and Motorhome Club was based on the following:- The specialist nature of the policy and reassurances I received from a very helpful and Customer focused member of staff regarding their attitude to dealing with claims. As mentioned above, the service I received upon making an enquiry, where I was dealt with courteously, by someone who treated me as a valued prospective customer, was a welcome change to the usual call centre laisse faire attitude. For the cover provided, it wasn't the cheapest, but I felt it was value for money. Insurance companies offering cheap insurance often recover their margins at the claims settlement stage - precisely what you don't want. The policy was backed by a reputable main line insurer. Of course the proof of the pudding will be if I ever have to make a claim, let's hope it doesn't come to that, but in the meantime I can sleep easy in the expectation of excellent service.
