Easy to sign up, poor communication

I like that it's easy to sign up, renew, and manage online, and that there's a multi-car bonus. But when I needed to claim after a deer emerged from a hedge and ran into my headlamps, it was a mission. I was not told how to handle the process (my first ever insurance claim, I needed much more handholding!). The repair network chose a garage 45 miles away from me, so I had to make very careful arrangements to get the damaged car there! It then took several weeks to get an appointment, and I had to call several numbers to reach several departments to get to the right person to escalate my case. I'll change services when it expires unless it's cheaper to remain. Reviewed on: 18th August 2023
