Great now I know they pay out

Have insured my dog with Insurance Emporium for 8 years. In that time have had to claim for two major back surgeries and other minor ailments. They’ve always paid out, and quickly too. But having the ability to preauthorise those surgeries would have saved a lot of stress and anxiety (especially during covid).. I had to take out a credit card to pay for them and there were many sleepless nights where I worried about what would happen if they didn’t pay out and I was stuck with c.£10k on my card..! Have also had mega price increases each year - but with a dachshund, I guess that’s happening everywhere. Reviewed on: 21st August 2023
