My cat had a heart murmer, the vet recommended it get checked out. One very expensive scan later, I put in a claim to be reimbursed. Admiral stated that, as it was related to the heart murmer it counted as a pre-existing condition even though this was the first diagnosis and the heart murmer was not a problem previously.
Any excuse to not pay out. Don't trust them with your money and your pet.
