Incompetent fraudsters refuse to pay out

Despite being unable to contact the joint beneficiary of a life policy for over 15 years, this bunch of incompetent clowns just keep writing the same brainless "you need to advise how we can contact your co-policy holder before we settle your half". And then, after several complaints, a breakthrough! Their customer services team agreed this was nonsense and that they had a number of similar previous cases where they had paid out the policy holders they were able to contact, and that they would instruct their payments team to settle half the fund value "within 10 days, direct to your bank account". 10 days later, no payment, and when I called, they said "you need to advise how we can contact your co-policy holder before we settle your half". Back to square one!. Useless, incompetent, unhelpful, they obviously just want to hold on to their customers' funds as long as possible to shore up their own dodgy finances. Don't touch them or their equally dodgy owners Lloyds bank - they're all a bunch of shysters. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2023
