Review of the Flexicover, Travel Insurance:

Easy to "follow"; reasonably priced; helpful in trouble.

I have used Flexicover for my travel insurance any time I go abroad, since the nineties. I find their website and application process very clear and easy to follow, their cover comprehensive for my needs and transparent, and their premium reasonable for the cover and affordable. I was pleasantly surprised to find (having not needed travel insurance for a number of years) that even though I am now of more "mature" years the cover available is still more than enough for my needs and does not cost the earth just because I am now a bit "older"! I once had a horrendous experience within a matter of hours of arriving in my destination, which left me with no money or plastic, plane tickets or clothes beyond those I stood up in. On top of that horror itself, when I returned home and posted my claim, it was fated to have been in a post box robbery - which I knew nothing about, of course, until contacted by the Post Office weeks later who had retrieved shreds of the contents of my packet to the insurers (full of receipts, police reports, affidavits from the British Consul, etc., etc.). Consequently, the claim, with relatively little "full" evidence still available to support it, went in later than the cut-oof date for a claim - but Flexicover, after ringing them to explain and ask for their help, were absolutely brilliant and accepted the claim regardless.
