Auto renewal at your cost££.

Easy to buy insurance and the first year was very responsible compared to others, unfortunately calling the call centre proved to be impossible when the insurance was automatically renewed, the price was nearly 50% more. Cancelling the insurance due to the increase cost me £68 as i was told that was their cost for suppling a quote, i cancelled 3 days after it started as i wasn't notified by phone text. This was within the 14 day cooling off period. I saved over £100 by using Hastings direct. Which dont charge me for cancellation during the 14 day cooling off period. Hastings also text message me to let me know that the insurance was being renewed.. Reviewed on: 3rd September 2023
