waste of time insurance

My cat ate a lilly so needed to stay in hospital for 2 nights 2 be treated. Basic treatment, just needed charcoal food and an IV, total cost was well within the insurance limit but this junk insurance doesn't cover for hospital fees except for the first £40. £40!!! are we having a laugh? It's my fault as I didn't read the small print but I went and got other quotes and none of the other providers have such an absurd clause. Definitely won't be renewing this garbage policy, not worth the paper it is written on Reviewed on: 14th September 2023

The limitation of £40.00 for hospitalisation is transparently detailed within the Vet's Fees section of the policy wording; this relates specifically to the accommodation, and does not include investigation or costs for treatment provided during the stay.
