A total embarrassment

After receiving the new credit card i activated it & tried to use it the following day to buy an expensive item utilising the 6 month interest free period. However the card was declined & told me to ring the cc fraud line. As I was with the retailer at the time I had to use another card without the interest free period which went through without any trouble. I did eventually ring the number & asked them to send me details of their complaints process. - I am still waiting after nearly 2 weeks. I have now cancelled the card. A complete waste of time.
