Review of the Collingwood, Car insurance:

BEWARE

I took this learner driver insurance out in my son's name so he could learn to drive. I cancelled it after 8 months as he had passed his test. They charge a £40 cancellation fee. They have threatened to pass it to their collections department if i don't pay and have warned me "this can seriously affect my credit score and therefore your ability to apply for credit in the future". The charge is hidden in the t&cs, which I agreed to and therefore I have no choice but to pay it. If they wish to do business is this vile way they should make it more transparent when taking out the policy. Reviewed on: 24th September 2023
