Review of the Aegon, Pension:

Awful company

Part of my company pension was transferred to Aegon . I had no choice in the matter I was told by the company pension scheme all AVC’s were being looked after by another company AVC’s stands for Added voluntary contributions. After the money being held for around 27 years I have found out to my horror that it isn’t worth a carrot due to devaluation of funds & charges since Aegon took charge of my money. I now find my self at the age of almost 62 needing my money however when I phoned the company to complain I couldn’t talk to any one who is willing to discuss this matter with me . I am now seeking advice from pension wise as to what to do as the fund has devalued to virtually nothing . Absolutely disgusting company avoid them at all costs.
