Backward company operating in 20th century

I was traced by dwp for an old workshop pension 44 years old. I was asked to SEND DOCUMENTS BY POST, Passport, marriage certificate, NIN, bank details all certified. Sent re Ord delivery, re eived on 17th but documents can't be found it will take 10 DAYS to Trace. I asked for an email to send documents they don't have one, I asked for the telephone number of the branch in Sunderland whRere I sent the documents do I could trace, they don't have one.
