Pre retirement pension fund down fall

Hi - My pension, with the people partnership continues to loose money, down 3.3% since Christmas 20233 and that's in the pre-retirement fund and it continues to fall. My aim was to draw this fund down until I'm 67 (62 now) but I'm going to have to work a little to bridge the gap now. You tell me that I can pick my own funds, I'm not the financial expert, you are supposed to undertake that role, not me. Poor financial management for those in pre retirement appears to be the case, it’s not good enough.
