Avoid Kroo

Had a work colleague try and send me £8 yes £8.00 to my kroo account for chicken soup he asked me to pick up in Morrisons. Payment was flagged up. Kroo wouldn't accept my explanation for the payment. Said I had to provide the date of birth of the sender. Not the service I would expect. Imagine it was emergency money from a friend or relatives for a taxi or train ticket. The moron on the other side of chat was in helpful. I wouldn't recommend kroo I get fantastic service from Monzo.. Reviewed on: 17th March 2026
