Terrible experience with Monzo.

Terrible experience with Monzo. They were great in the beginning and they are good if you just put your money in and spend but if you have any issues or problems it's so difficult to sort out. I spoke to Monzo about setting up a payment plan on my overdraft, they made a mistake (reducing my limit by £130 instead of £30). It took them over 2 months to get back to me (after sending the same robotic message every time i reached out) and they apologised and offered me compensation end of November. As of 16th January I haven't received the compensation OR had any updates. Other than this I've had no issues but be aware it's hard to get a hold of anyone and they can take very long to resolve problems. Good for organising money into pots but Starling offers this and has better customer service! Starling helped me so quickly and nicely when card got stolen and customer service is much more human! Great app and Great customer service

I have enjoyed using starling bank to manage my money. It offers me a nice percentage for keeping my money with them, which is better than 0%. I have always has a great experience with customer service and I enjoy using the sleek design on the app for a non-clunky and seamless user experience which i don't get from my main stream banks Reviewed on: 16th January 2024
