I set up a fixed rate savings account online and with a little guidance and reassurance from the telephone help it was very easy. I was worried about transferring large amounts of money everything went very smoothly. Reviewed on: 13th January 2025

We set up a fixed rate saving account to supplement our pensions. Mostly dealt with online which was fairly straightforward but it was great to speak to somebody quickly over the phone just to clarify a couple of things. I was very impressed with both the speed of reply, only rang for a few seconds before getting to speak to a human being, amazing, (you get used to waiting on the phone for ages these days and then having to listen to a recorded message). We were also impressed with the level of knowledge of the person we spoke to. She immediately knew what I was asking about and was able resolve our small issue. All in all a very positive experience.
