Issue with Bath B S.

I originally decided to join and save with Bath B S. Filled in an ISA transfer form and signed and sent it off. But because of Royal Mail, and Bath stating I had only a limited time to fund my account, I telephoned Bath to cancel my application. Little did I know that Bath had gone ahead without my consent and knowledge. This caused me a 4 hour telephone call to different bank and building societies trying to track my matured missing ISA Reviewed on: 16th May 2026

Reply from Bath Building Society Thank you for sharing your experience and I’m sorry to hear about the frustration your ISA tfr caused you. We always aim to make our processes clear and would only progress with a transfer once we’ve received a completed and signed instruction providing authority to proceed. That said, I appreciate how the timings between processing and your telephone call may have overlapped, especially with it being near the end of the financial year.
