Premium increase of 100%

I have an ageing spaniel and paid £1600 insurance last year, and has cause to make 1 claim, to which they paid £434. Just received my renewal and it has increased by 100% to £262 per month, yes that’s right, per month! the sad thing is, is that they tell you it’s because you’ve had a claim and you won’t get cover anywhere else. Needless to say, insurance now cancelled Reviewed on: 5th February 2024
