Full discussion of pre-existing conditions, so no fear of a get-out clause in the event of a claim

I had been turned down for travel insurance by one of the best known insurers for the retired. Why? because I had a coming clinic appointment for a very trivial matter! At World First I declared this appointment and the reason for it and it was rightly dismissed as of no interest. I was able to discuss my other, quite normal for my age, health issues with somebody who had access to another person in the room with medical knowledge. Insurance at a reasonable rate was offered within a few minutes. Being able to discuss details in full gave me the peace of mind that in the event of a claim, I had declared everything about my pre-existing conditions that the insurer needed to know.
