AVOID BLUEWATER BRANCH!

I have visited this branch 4 times as it is in my commute between London and Canterbury. Every time it has been a long and tiring experience. No matter what time of day, and what day, Tuesday afternoon or Thursday morning, it's always short staffed and I wait a long time (minimum 15 mins) in the queue to be served. Once I had to deal with a lady who was extremely rude about me giving her £10 worthy of £1 in coin bags, even though I had 5 bags worth or £20 one pound coins and was depositing them along with 1k in notes! She said she couldn't accept the £10 and that I should have checked what's the appropriate way of depositing money before going to the branch! Even though I have lived in Canterbury for over 8 years and the Santander branch there has no problem with however many number of coins I give them! I let that go, and about 10 days so I went there again, after having queued for 20 mins and while everyone was getting frustrated, I had to deal with an oriental lady (she might have been Chinese) who took a very long time to deposit my money and seemed she couldn't really understand English well!!! I asked if I could have 12 months of bank statements printed and she told me she had to order them from the headquarters, which I agreed to. She said this was all done and should be with me in 10 working days! Yesterday, having had no statements posted to me, I rang Santander to follow up on this when the guy told me there must have been a mistake and that nothing was requested to be mailed to me. This is unacceptable. I need those documents urgently and I really can't afford to wait another 10 days. Avoid this branch of possible. I have dealt with the charing cross branch and the Canterbury branch and they are always extremely helpful and polite. Reviewed on: 21st September 2016
