Just don’t ever submit a claim

Have been with coverforyou for many years, always go with annual multi-trip gold insurance with most add ons. This is the first time I’ve ever claimed, and they rejected it. Apparently when your travels are disrupted due to a natural disaster (cyclone and flooding of the airport I was meant to fly into), that’s not covered. It wasn’t even a big claim since I managed to get help from friends luckily, but very disappointing to see when something unexpected like this happens, you’re on your own. They say the only thing covered is disruption to your flights in and out of the UK. I’ll be looking elsewhere for future *actual* cover. Reviewed on: 10th March 2024
