Great family society

4
Great value rates and always a friendly face if you need to speak to over the phone or in-branch. Efficient and quite technologically advanced for a building society, transfers usually only take a couple of hours. I also find them excellent for child savings. Just wish they had a Fairer Share like Nationwide! Reviewed on: 11th March 2024

Little awkward and poor rates

2
Halifax worked okay in the background and the app was okay, even without a current account. However, closing an account in-trust seemed a bit of a hassle and staff were friendly but not sure how to handle things which resulted in numerous visits. Telephone staff are also a little unhelpful and just always refer in-branch. Credit cards also randomly decline. Rates also leave a lot to be desired. Reviewed on: 11th March 2024

Terrible in every aspect

1
Everything regarding Lloyds is terrible. Customer advisors regularly provide incorrect information which has to be sorted by a complaint. Service in my local branch leaves a lot to be desired and feels like nobody really cares anymore. App can be temperamental and cards randomly decline. Enough is enough! Reviewed on: 11th March 2024

Review of the NatWest, Instant Saver:

Easy but Low Rates

3
The Flexible Saver is easy to use and I love the Round Ups feature from the current account. It’s also easy to manage online, by the app or over the phone, but the interest rate is much lower than other options like Nationwide meaning I save my bulk elsewhere. Reviewed on: 11th March 2024

Easy and modern

4
NatWest has been easy to setup online and the app provides all the functionality I need. Telephone assistance is always friendly and I love that it’s available 24/7. Great safety features like Get Cash. Card works perfectly. Some functionalities aren’t available until you’re 18 however, and I wouldn’t say savings rates are good apart from the regular saver.
