Rip-off renewals. £271.59 last year. This year, same car (one year older), extra year of no claims discount (9 years now) and no other changes at all - exacltly the same policy. Guess how much ? £694.37. That is a 156% increase. Why don't they jsut send a letter saying they don't want to insure you, please go elsewhere. At least that is honest. Found elsewere for 31% more, still bad but that is life these days with people with "normal" cars paying for others with complex EV imports with no parts, etc. I should pay based on me, where I live, what I use my car for and the car I own.
