Good support but hostility towards cryptocurrency tr...

Good support but hostility towards cryptocurrency transactions is outdated and shows an old fashioned mindset, rather than a progressive one. Have moved to Monzo. Additionally advertise an overdraft feature but despite having a flawless credit record I’ve still not managed to get approved for one of these elusive features - I’m starting to believe they don’t exist Reviewed on: 13th March 2024

Reply from Starling Bank Hi Jordan, thanks for your review. At Starling, we constantly review our position in relation to financial crime. We consider crypto activity to be high risk. We’ve taken the decision to prevent all card payments to crypto merchants and to implement further restrictions on outgoing and incoming transfers. We will not charge customers for declined payments.
