Computer say no

I had difficulty logging into my a/c last week and had to phoned customer services. The person I spoke to (Kendra) was polite and helpful but it was clear that there was something wrong with your IT systems as even after being sent a new password, the system refused to log me in. I felt I had no choice but to close the a/c and asked for my money to be transferred to my current a/c. Even this was not straightforward as your computer did not recognised my hsbc details (an account which I have held for over 30 years). Further inconvenience ensued whereby I had to send a copy of my bank statment. To cut a - very - long story short, the money has finally arrived in my a/c today, a week later, and I understand had to be made by manual transfer. Simply not good enough.
