Froze our account as soon as we tried to withdraw money

Opened a business account 2 months ago, no problems there - provided all the ID asked for to open the account. We had customers pay us over £20,000 in to the account yesterday and we tried to log in to online banking to transfer some funds to pay staff and supplier - cashplus blocked the account completely. Customer service said they sent an email last night with a link to fill out some more info, the same ID info they had to open the account - we have had to send this info by recorded delivery and advised they would update us in 5 working days of receiving the documents - not that they would reinstate the account! This now means we have no funds to operate the business or pay staff before easter weekend...... Literally at my wits end. Bad times. Reviewed on: 20th March 2024
