I think the missed direct debit charge of £15 is steep. Other banks will at least tell you if a charge is upcoming but I have often been caught out with Cashplus. But when I had online fraud - no texts or approve through app were sent to me and I was told “we will do our best to get your money back for you.” I realised that my month was not safe and the bank didn’t take responsibility that it was their security that led to this. I know online fraud is rife but every other bank has text confirmation etc and my account was emptied over night. Reviewed on: 21st March 2024
