Review of the Admiral, Car insurance:

Room for improvement, but reliable

I’d say I’m about 80% happy with Admiral. They’re a trusted brand and I’ve used them and off (mostly on) over the last 7 years. The only negative for me is that it feels like they try to rip you off when it comes to renewing. Every year I get frustrated that it takes ringing up claiming to leave before they’ll give you their “best offer” which is much closer to competitor’s price than the price they give you to automatically renew. This aside, I’ve never had a bad customer service experience with them, employees are always polite and courteous and I think the website is much better than most others (still room for improvement though!). Probably the cheapest car insurance if you use their telematics too, which I’ve never had a problem with. Reviewed on: 2nd September 2018
