Smart Lending Approach, but Not Perfect I have been using Abound for few years, and overall, it is a refreshing take on borrowing compared to traditional lenders. What stands out most is how they assess affordability—they look beyond just your credit score and consider your actual spending habits, which feels much fairer and more modern. The application process is quick and straightforward. Linking your bank account is simple, and decisions come through fast. I also found the interest rates to be competitive, especially given the personalised approach. One of the biggest positives is transparency. The terms are clearly explained upfront, and there are no hidden surprises. Managing the loan through their platform is easy, and repayments are clearly scheduled. However, there are a few downsides. Not everyone will feel comfortable linking their bank account, even though it is secure. Also, while rates can be good, they still depend heavily on your financial profile, so they won’t be the best option for everyone. Customer support is decent, but responses can sometimes take a bit longer than expected. Overall, Abound is a strong choice if you’re looking for a more personalised and tech-driven lending experience.
