Vast improvement on a Big Name bank

I switched to Starling from a 'Big Name Bank' after frustration with customer service and poor support for their app while simultaneously reducing in-person banking. Banking with starling has been a refreshing change. Security checks are tight during some transactions (a good thing if occasionally annoying), with regular updates and fixes to the Starling app. I have contacted their customer support once or twice and received a prompt reply to my query. And I really like the 'saving spaces' for dividing up little 'pots'. The only difficulty I have experienced is in the way some online retailers process repeat subscription orders. I found a solution to this by setting up a new 'space' with virtual debit card to overcome this issue. Reviewed on: 12th April 2024
