Review of the Admiral, Home insurance:

Good Cover

Admiral provide good cover at reasonable prices, though at renewal time their quotes always come in significantly higher than competitors. These competitors are generally in the Admiral group and with a quick phone call you can barter Admiral down to similar prices, meaning you don't have to go through the hassle of switching and still get the financial savings. Their coverage is of a high standard and there are few problems I've experienced from having Admiral as an insurance provider. As a reputable company, I feel safer knowing I have them providing my cover, though I have never had to make a claim on any of my insurance policies. When calling up, the staff are always very polite and friendly, and I feel valued as a customer. That being said, I find it incredibly frustrating that when changing any details on your policy such as job title or address, you are subject to a adminstration fee of around £40+ before even taking into account any other changes that may effect your policy price.
