Emergency Cover a Joke

Emergency cover a joke. Have platinum home insurance which includes emergency(and boiler) cover. Boiler in loft started to leak - coming through kitchen ceiling and light fittings. Contacted Admiral to get it fixed. Firstly depite asking lenghy questions they managed to get my address wrong which resulted in delay with the company dealing contacting me. When we finally got my address correct, we started again. I am meanwhile watching water drip through the ceiling ( it had filled the space between the loft flooring and the kitchen ceiling plaster board, so it continued even after I got a cotainer under the boiler. I was then told I would be contacted in approximately 7 hours to inform me when an engineer coulds attend. Meanwhile heating and hot water off of course. If this is EMERGENCY cover I am glad I didn't have a less important problem . I doubt if I would use Admiral again for house cover. Will probably try to claim from them now for new ceiling plaster boards and decorating. This would probably have not been necessary if there had been a speedier emergency response .
