It will be the best decision you will ever make today!

I went from being way over my head and stressing on a daily basis to being more in control of the debt I owe. Step change done all the hard work and gave me one easy to manage payment plan. They keep me informed every month as to how I'm doing and how much I have left to pay. I make sure my statements from my creditors matches what is on my payment plan and watch every month as it goes down. I struggled one month as my partner was unwell and I wasn't able to make a full payment. I phoned them and they asked what I could afford and they made the ammended without any hassle. As I got a salary increase I was able to increase my payments by £50 a month. It's not alot but it shortened the timeline for me become debt free. I'm 2 years in and now have been told I'll be debt free in 4 years. The first time I was able to see the light at the end of the hole I dug myself into. I am forever grateful to the team at StepChange as it gave me my life back. I no longer stress about how I can make payments to everyone. That first night after they told me everything was fine and set up was the best sleep I have had in the 7 years it took me to deal with it all. I have my life back. Reviewed on: 1st May 2024
