I was so overwhelmed and feeling really stressed as I just couldn’t afford to pay all my debts each month. I was borrowing from family and having to pay them back each month when I got paid, but was stuck in this cycle for over a year before someone suggested I contact Stepchange. Setting up the payment plan was easy because the people you speak to are so helpful and offer great advice about how you can budget to make payments and still have money to live. From the moment my payment plan was set up, I instantly stopped worrying. I can’t thank Stepchange enough! Everyone has been so amazing! Reviewed on: 24th May 2025

Five stars all the way!

Stepchange are an amazing charity and have really help me feel that I am on top of my debts. It took me a long time to contact them, as I was feeling so low and embarrassed to be in the position I was in, owing so much money. I’m so pleased that I contacted them, they helped me put together a plan that I have been able to comfortably manage for over a year. The whole process has been so simple and so reassuring. When I have called to speak to someone the staff have always been so understanding, helpful and completely non judgemental.
