I got myself into a difficult financial situation and was dealing with it for years until it got to the point where I physically had to ask for help to stop me from getting behind with payments. I was absolutely dreading it and cried a few times at the thought of it and I was back and to on the website before I finally gave in and asked for help. It was so simple and the process was all very quick. I got all the advice I needed and set up a debt management plan and the weight was really lifted off my shoulders. I really wish I had done it sooner and can't believe how much better I felt. I started having more money, was able to save for things I could have never done before all at the same time as paying my debt off. Each year they do a financial review which you can choose to pay more or less. I choose to pay a little bit extra a month and knocked a year off my plan end date. If you are unsure of what to do with your financial situation if you are having difficulties I would definitely recommend step change and anyone who feels scared of taking the step please don't, it's one of the best things that you could do!
