Life changing decision

My Husband and I were really struggling financially following the birth of our first child. After years of spending and getting credit from wherever we were in quite a bit of debt. No one ever explained finances or interest to us, so when the bank or other lenders offered us credit we thought it was the best thing ever and we had money to blow on fun stuff. We thought the repayments would be fine and we’d just get on with it. It wasn’t until the interest on everything was making it difficult to keep up, and then one day on maternity leave we found ourselves with not even enough money for food for the month and we both broke down. A friend of ours recommended Step Change, and we were reluctant due to the enormity of admitting we were in such bad debt and making the first step to paying it all off - it seemed like it would never happen. Fast forward 3 years and we are nearly debt free! Step Change made it so easy for us to get where we are today. We paid one monthly payment and they distributed it to our debtors.
